Walter E. Beach Fellowship
The Walter E. Beach fellowships are given to assist outstanding scholars from foreign countries in attending the annual meetings of the Southern Political Science Association. The permanent commemoration at headquarters is a gold trophy set with black onyx given by Walter's friends. Individual winners receive a medal inset with symbols of Walter's love of books and learning. Selection is by the Association in cooperation with the PSO, which funds the endowment.
